Where my mothafathers at?

Dear Toyota Auto Show Performance Team,
Drop the rest of your act. Drop the Sultry Sienna song, Let Your Unnecessary Truck Grow or whatever the hell you're singing, screw the Avalon Lounge act.

If the rest of your auto show brethren must listen to you singing the same songs at high volume over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over for days and weeks at a time for months on end, then next season make it this incredibly awesome one.

Be thankful the client isn't having you do it on top of the flaming spiral of death. Yet. You know it is being considered at some saki-fueled happy hour.

The Booth Babe

PS I'll give you 20 bucks. Doooooooo eeeeeeeeeeeet.
PPS You sound great as-is. But THIS. Do it.
PPPS Sorry for two Toyota commercials in a row, but it had to happen.
PPPPS Check out this week's column at Punch buggy black and blue

  1. Wow! I kinda' like the commercial, very funny! As far as hearing the same song and dance over and over at the Shows I know what you mean... I've been doing Shows off and on for the last 15 years and I've seen everything!

  2. I like the song, but.... it's a minivan. I just can't. I actually like station wagons a lot. I have no problems stuffing my two kids in there. Minivans, not so much.

I do like the concept of this commercial. But... it's a minivan.

  3. I think they need to focus on quality, quality, and quality with a side of good PR and marketing. :)

  4. Funny, what is the tune, I havent heard it [gone this year, and just browsed back onto your blog, gfunny stuff here! hahaha] so true, when i read it Im like "yeaaaa" haha

  5. Lauren, go onto YouTube and search for Toyota auto show singers. You'll find a bunch of videos that show their performances. They're really good, actually - but this rap would far surpass anything they've ever done : )
